Type of the fence. The cemetery is surrounded by a metal fence on concrete basement of 1.5 metres height.
General Site Condition:
Fenced and protected Jewish cemetery. The cemetery is well-maintained by Rohatyn Jewish Community. The cemetery was mostly destroyed during WWII. Preserved gravestones were moved from their original places.

Mass Graves on Site:
Yes. There is a marked mass grave of 12 Jews that died during WWII and found in a basement of Church in Rohatyn. Their remains were reburied on the site in 2013.

The exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. The oldest gravestone relates to the mid-19th century, so it can be assumed that the cemetery emerged during that period. It was not marked on old maps.
