The cemetery is located south-west of the crossing of R34 (Strada Cahul) and Strada Decebal.

The cemetery is surrounded by a metal mesh fence, on average 1.5 metres high, including both newer and older sections.
General Site Condition:
Fenced and protected Jewish cemetery. The cemetery is in good condition and maintained, the trees and bushes are cut.
Number of existing gravestones:
1,310. Some gravestones are broken. There are a number of mausoleums and ohel-like structures at the cemetery, both from before and after WWII.

Presumably from the late 19th century
Date of Newest Tombstone:
1990 (newest tombstone found by ESJF expedition). According to other expeditions, 2013.

Some parts of the fence need repair.

According to Yizkor Leova, tombstones from the pre-WWII period existed either on this cemetery, or on another, elder one. More information is not available.
