Turistvandi Jewish Cemetery
The Jewish cemetery of Túristvándi was established as early as 1857, since the oldest tombstone found in the cemetery dates to that year. The latest tombstone was erected in 1933. The cemetery has not been fenced.
The Jewish community in Túristvándi never had a significant population. The Jewish population was 19 in 1843, and peaked at 36 in 1930. The whole Jewish community was deported to Auschwitz. Only 2 people survived the Holocaust.
