The territory marked on the cadastral map is now a path inside the cemetery. At the southern end there are 3 pedestals but it is not possible to say whether are they Jewish or not. The municipality nor Mazsihisz knew about this Jewish cemetery.

The Jewish cemetery of Szerep was established as early as 1886, since it appears on the cadastral map of that year. The cemetery appears to have been destroyed.
In 1944, there were 80 Jewish inhabitants in the village.
