Sosnowica Jewish Cemetery
The cemetery is located in the Górki Forest in the south-east of Sosnowica. East of the road to Hills and Urszulin. Access is from the road through the forest along the historical track (black trail): Sosnowica - Jamniki "Nałęcz".
Delineation of perimeter requires additional research. According to the National Heritage Board of Poland’s Jewish cemetery list, the cemetery was located at the given coordinates, it was demolished with no traces of it preserved. The exact place was indicated by a local old woman, who claimed that she remembers the gravestones in this cemetery. The catalogue states that there is a small hill on the site. The cemetery is not marked on the pre-war maps available. The tourist map of Sosnowica indicates the Jewish cemetery as one of the tourist attractions located along the black trail. The place is marked with an old information board which is overturned and the inscription on it is no longer visible. Therefore, the location is approximate and the perimeter requires additional study.
