General site condition
It is a well-preserved Jewish cemetery. The area of the cemetery was reduced in the late 1960s. Many tombstones have been preserved in situ and are in good condition, there are also some fragments. The cemetery is partly ovegrown with grass and bushes, however the tombstones are visible. Litter was found at the site.
Number of existing gravestones
About 1300. Many tombstones have been preserved. Some of the matzevot are polychrome( some original and some renovated). Many very richly ornamented matzevot have great artistic value. There are many broken tombstones as well, with missing parts.
