The territory has been overbuilt with private houses. We were not able to talk with the Director of the Museum, as there was a conference. Local residents did not know anything about the Jewish cemetery. Opposite No.37 Melitopolskaya Street, there is a stone that resembles a part of the tombstone, however we could not confirm that it was. There are building materials lying around the entire specified territory.

Historical overview

The exact period of the cemetery establishment is unknown. But, there is information that a Jewish cemetery operated in 1910. According to an expedition by ESJF, the cemetery started to be demolished in the 1930s, and it was totaly demolished in the late of 1990s. LoTishkah indicated that there were the remains of about 200 gravestones (some of them with readable inscriptions) in 2014.

According to LoTishkah, in 2014 there were around 200 gravestones, some of which had readable inscriptions. Nowadays there is only one stone that looks like a gravestone. According to ESJF information, the demolishing of the cemetery had begun in the 1930s, and it was completely destroyed in the late 1990s.
The cemetery territory is overbuilt with private houses.
