General site condition
The Old Jewish cemetery of Bytom is demolished and overbuilt with multi-story buildings of residential and commercial use. No historical traces of the cemetery have survived. A commemorative plaque on the façade of Piastów Bytomskich, 3-5, marks the area as the territory of the Jewish cemetery.
Number of existing gravestones
No tombstones has survived at the site. Some tombstones from the old cemetery were transferred to the new Jewish cemetery and placed there.
