The cemetery is heavily overgrown with trees, bushes, and tall grass. The majority of the gravestones are either broken or partially immersed in the ground. Clearance and fencing are required.

39. The site also include 4 basic stones. There are a number of much older gravestones on the site, but their inscriptions are too damaged to be legible.

Historical overview

The exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. Given it appears on a Russian map of the region from 1929 it can be inferred the cemetery already existed at this point. According to Lo Tishkakh data, the oldest preserved gravestone dates to the early 20th century, but ESJF surveyors were unable to locate it during their visit in 2020. According to the most recent epigraphic data, the oldest gravestone dates to the mid 20th century.
